From Alumni

Our alumni program is set for a ‘full bloom’ this year. Last year we planted many seeds, figuratively speaking, and we watched as they metaphorically sprouted in the form of reconnection and community. 

Since the beginning of the program, we have connected with 184 of our former students. Each is willing to give back and be part of the ‘Creating Impact’ movement that we’re fostering within our school.  Our alumni have given back to SASC in various ways: with their generosity of time, their commitment to the program, and with their sage advice for students. With each reconnection, a new relationship blossoms, and as more and more alumni engage with us, the connections and relationships grows stronger. That’s when we reach ‘full bloom’.

I’m excited to see what this looks like in 2021: more career Q&As, more in-class interviews, more lived experience, and more knowledge sharing. All of this means more inspiration and motivation for our students. Full. Bloom. It’s a beautiful thing
