Just One Thing

Dear Parents, Guardians and Friends,

You are invited to participate in our “Just One Thing” campaign for 2021. We hope to build on our successful fundraising events of the past and give all GRPS families a chance to be involved in our school community. We would especially encourage families which are new to the area to get involved. Volunteering at our School is a great way to meet people and make friends.

We have over 380 families attending GRPS and we would be grateful if every family would nominate to do “Just One Thing” throughout the year. Apart from building up our community, a successful campaign makes a significant contribution to our School’s financial position. Our fundraising dollars are put back into the school and in the past have contributed to the purchase of:

New iPads
Playground Equipment
Classroom Furniture

Below is a list of “Things” for Term 1 that we would appreciate your assistance with. If you could please email the office your details as soon as possible, so that we can collate the responses, and when the time comes someone from the school or PFA (Parents and Friends Association) will be in contact with you regarding your participation.

Due to the unknown and ever changing Covid-19 situation, we have decided to ask for your help from Term to Term, as cancelling of events may occur. All volunteering will be subject to Covid safe guidelines.

We would like to thank you in advance for offering your time to volunteer. Without you, these events would not be possible.

Term 1During School Hours

Member of Chocolate Drive Committee - assist with distribution of chocolates
Counting of monies
Assist with Hot Cross Bun Drive - counting monies, distributing goods
Assist with the Easter raffle - counting monies, wrapping hampers
