Changing Seasons
Sometimes I think the Library reminds me of a tree, reflecting the changing seasons of the year through its appearance. Often the Library depicts events that have happened with photographs of events such as the Swimming Carnival, Sports Days, Book Week activities and so on.
Sometimes it shows the current work of students with their books of poems and dioramas on display. This week Mrs Fergusson has created displays representing a time of remembrance and a festive celebration still to come – Remembrance Day, next Monday, and Christmas … next month. (Yes! Next month!)
Today the Library buzzed with the voices of Year 3 students with their buddies from Year 8 Blue as they shared some reading together. It sounded a very happy time!
The Library will be open for three more weeks but next week, Week 5, will be the last week for students to borrow. A box will be provided outside the Library in Weeks 8 and 9 for the return of all borrowed books.
