Year 12 Exams are well under way. We continue to pray for our senior students at this special time of their academic year.

Two special events are approaching:

1. Monday, 11 November 2019 - Remembrance Day Service

The whole school (ELC – Year 12) will assemble in the Gymnasium at 10:50 am to celebrate the historical significance of the ceasing of all conflicts in World War I at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918.

On the 101st anniversary of this event we shall reflect on the beauty of peace and the treasures we enjoy as a free, democratic country operating under the rule of law in the name of God. We shall give thanks for these treasures that we enjoy because of the sacrifices of so many of our soldiers, sailors and airmen.

We also include the sacrifices of all those who died or whose lives were forever changed as a result of World War 2 and subsequent theatres of conflict in the name of freedom for us all.

Parents and friends are warmly welcome to join us for this occasion.

2. Special Fund-Raiser for our African Friends

Our wonderful family from the Democratic Republic of Congo have settled into our school family beautifully.  We are celebrating their coming to us and are excited about a special event to raise funds to assist them in their new life here in Australia.
