Louise Cleary csb - Talith Kum Award

Talith Kum Award in recognition for her significant contribution to ACRATH

At a recent International Gathering Talitha Kum, Louise Cleary csb was recognised for her many years of dedicated services and contribution to the work of AGRATH.  Louise as one of the original volunteers to lobby governments of all persuasions to change our laws with regard to human trafficking.  There were 40 nations present at the International conference and all the delegates have contribute to the international work to raise awareness, to lobby governments and to develop strategies to reduce this dehumanising practise.

Congratulations Louise and many thanks from all of us at Kildare Ministries for all that you have done over many years, to make all our communities more aware that human trafficking can exist right under our noses. The Modern Day Slavery Act is also a decisive step forward for us in Australia.
