Orienteering Program

We are excited to let you know that we will be running a four week orienteering program (one lunchtime a week) for interested Grade 3-6 students STARTING NEXT WEEK.  Students are required to sign up for this activity with a weekly commitment to the program.  There are still spaces left.  There is no cost to families as it is wonderfully funded by the Sporting Schools program.  Lunchtime sessions will run on 15, 22, 19 August and 12 September.

Please click here to register your child’s interest in the program.  Applications will close once capacity is reached.

Please contact Claire Morris if you have any further questions.

Blast Cricket:

Once again, we will be taking part in the Blast Cricket at Victoria Park on 21 October (Grade 3+4’s) and 22 October (Grade 5+6).  Tryouts will take place at lunchtime in the gym on 28 August (girls) and 30 August (boys).  Please encourage your child to attend if they are interested.

We are also very keen to hear from any parent interested in helping us out with a team (or more).  Please contact Claire Morris if you are interested in helping out.

Lunchtime Lawn Bowls

Lunchtime lawn bowls is on again for the next six weeks, starting this Thursday.  Any student from Prep to Grade 6 is invited along.  Please meet Ms Morris in the gym at lunchtime on Thursdays and we will walk across to the bowling club together.

P.E. Shoes

A reminder that students need to have clean, dry sports shoes for P.E.  We recommend bringing a spare pair to school to ensure maximum participation in class, particularly in Term 2+3 when the weather is a bit wetter.  To find out when your child has P.E., please check your Compass portal.
