NAIDOC Week at O'Connor Catholic College

Flag Raising Ceremony

The commencement of NAIDOC Week saw the College participate in a moving flag raising ceremony. It was broadcast to the student cohort via zoom.

The Rainbow Serpent

During the week, students and staff participated in a large artwork - The Rainbow Serpent. At the end of the week, the school was able to view the finished product, lots of individual squares pieced together to form the beautiful serpent below. 

To finish the week, students participated in an emu walk, where we scoured the playground for any litter and collected it to dispose of. 

Thanks to everyone involved who were instrumental in make NAIDOC Week 2020 so memorable. Always was, always will be.
