Year 7 Digital Technologies

In Year 7  Digital Technologies we have been learning about how to create movies. Our assignment was to make a movie about isolation life. We could either make a movie which would compare our isolation life to school onsite or we could make a movie that could be about what school looks like with masks and hand sanitser. 

I chose to make my movie about comparing my isolation life to my school life onsite. A couple of weeks ago some Year 7 girls and I were lucky enough to get chosen to be in a video which would showcase what 'A Day in a Life of' a Year 7 student looks like for an information evening we had at the College. This inspired me and how I chose to create my movie. I made my video similar by doing 'A Day in the Life' at school versus at home.

For our Year 7 Digital Technologies task this term, we have been learning to use an app called Premiere Pro. It is an app that makes movies. On the app you can edit, add music, titles, credits, transitions and lots more. 

Our task was to create a mini movie of isolation life. We could be as creative as we liked, to show what our experience in isolation was like. My idea for the movie was to compare what it was like at the start and then the end of lockdown and then what it was like going back to school. During online classes I took photos and videos of my routine. When we came back to school I took videos and photos of the same things. Once I had added transitions, music, titles and credits, I think the end result worked out pretty well.
