Principal's Message

NAIDOC Week

The students of GRPS have embraced the celebrations around NAIDOC week.

NAIDOC week is an opportunity for all Australians to come together to celebrate the rich history, diverse cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the oldest continuing cultures on the planet.

Always Was, Always Will Be acknowledges this nation’s story began at the dawn of time and didn’t begin with documented European contact.

NAIDOC 2020 invited all Australians to embrace and acknowledge the true history of this country – a history which dates back thousands of generations.

Remembrance Day

The students of GRPS commemorated the loss of Australian lives from all wars and conflicts with a minute silence on November 11th. Activities were completed such as the poppy craft to teach the children about the significance of this day.

Community Watch

We are very fortunate to have beautiful grounds at GRPS. The oval space and our playground are utilized by our community and we welcome you in this space. We also know that many families walk their dogs through the grounds. Dogs are very welcome on our grounds out of school hours,  however they must be on their leads at all times. For the safety and hygiene of our children any dog droppings need to be disposed of responsibly.

Thank you in advance for assisting in the care of our playgrounds.

Foundation 2021

We are very excited to be welcoming our Foundation students and their families to school next week in small groups for Transition. All children have taken home a very special friend "Ryrie" to make those very special connections to our school.

Enjoy the weekend with the relaxation of some of the restrictions with family and friends
