Busy start to the term by 2B

Luca: We have been learning about three digit numbers and have learned about writing them in expanded form. For example if you had 362, it would be 300 + 60 + 2 and that would be 362 in expanded form! At first it was a bit hard but we have learned and practised and now we are experts!

Rupert: We played dominoes in Maths, where we had to match the numbers, number words and MAB blocks. We raced in groups and it was the first group to match them all and make a circle would win! It was REALLY fun even though my group didn't win.

Lucas: In Maths we have been learning to count with three digit numbers. We have been counting by 10s, where the tens column changes and we even counted by 100s, where we change the hundreds column. I LOVE counting and three-digit numbers have been a bit hard but we have practised and we are getting better.
