Welcome Back to Term 2

Over the holidays, I was blessed to spend time with family and friends. Easter is a time that reminds us that we are a part of a larger community, the Catholic community. It was nice to be back at the College today to see the students come back in, largely with happy smiles and warm greetings. During the day we came together as a community for our Anzac Day Service. It was a solemn occasion where we paid our respect to not only those that have gone before us and paid the ultimate sacrifice, losing their life fighting for the freedoms that we often take for granted, but also to those men and women who have served in our Armed Forces and those that continue to serve. As a community we are indebted to all of those who serve to protect our freedoms.

Local Community

Towards the end of last term, I received a number of complaints from those that live in the local community about some of our parents in relation to them parking over driveways and blocking up local streets by picking up their son/s in non-designated pick-up spots.

While we at the College teach about respect and you bring your sons up to be respectful, can I please remind everyone in the community to respect our local neighbours and only pick-up and drop-off from the Kiss and Drop area on Edgar St and Fraser St. I thank everyone in the community for their willingness to support our neighbours.
