French Language Program 

The first Annual Mardi Gras- Le carnival français at BPS

Last Thursday, we celebrated the beginning of our French Language Program at BPS with the first Annual Mardi Gras dress-up day.

It was lovely seeing so many wonderful colourful costumes and masks. Students paraded around the basketball courts to French music and colourful bubbles throughout the day. 

Students of all year levels enjoyed a bilingual puppet show of Le livre de la jungle (Jungle Book) which was performed in the Performing Arts Centre by Anne-Marie from Carousel Theatre. 

The staff of BPS also got into the spirit of Mardi Gras with some interesting costumes, looking different to what the students are used to. 

Monsieur Calleja and Madame Esposito are looking forward to our next French cultural day in Term 3 when we will celebrating Bastille Day! Below are some photos from the day.
