Year 3-6 Swimming

MONASH/WAVERLEY DIVISION SWIMMING CARNIVAL

Cyrella in Year 6 attended the Monash Waverley Division Swimming Carnival on Tuesday 2 March to represent our Wellington District of schools. Cyrella competed with amazing effort and placed first in the 11 year old girls Freestyle and Backstroke 50 metre events. Congratulations to her and we wish her luck at the Regional Swimming carnival next week.

YEAR 3-6 SWIMMING

Year 3-6 students should have received a permission form with details about their school swimming program, starting Monday 15th March. The 9 x 40 minute swimming lessons will occur during the school day and parents and family members are unable to attend to watch this year due to COVID safe plans.

Students need to:

• Have a yellow swimming cap – clearly labelled with their name.
• Swimming caps are available for $2 from Miss Leyla at the Office. (CASH ONLY)
• Wear their school uniform or sports uniform (on days your child has PE/PA)
• Bring a swimming/sports bag (not a plastic shopping bag) with their bathers, towel, brush or comb, swimming cap and thongs.
• Return the permission form to their class teacher by Tuesday 9th March.
