Behind the Art Room Door 

This week I wanted to share some of the creative art works completed during the past few weeks of Visual Art Distance Learning Program.

It’s fabulous to receive such high quality art work each week from my art students.

Grade 5/6, Banksy - There is always hope

The Grade 5/6 students studied Banksy’s mural “Girl With Balloon”.  On this mural the words “There Is Always Hope” are written next to a young girl letting go of a balloon. 

The students were asked to reflect on what gives them hope during challenging times. Here is a sample of their responses.
