Dolls Corner

Dolls corner is set up in our Cubby house for children to explore their imagination skills. We have set up this area for Children who has shown their interest playing with the dolls. 

Mackenzie, Sophie and Cherelle have shown great interest playing with dolls.

*Playing with the dolls help children to learn and explore in many ways like they develop their social skills.

*By learning important social skills at an early age, children are learning responsibility as well. They learn how to take care of a doll by playing with it.

*Another important social skill that children learn when playing with dolls is how to process emotions such as empathy and compassion. Just like caring for their doll teaches responsibility, it teaches them to empathize with those around them and allows them to grow up into caring people.

*Dramatic play, the kind of play that happens when children play with dolls, helps develop a child’s imagination as they encounter creative, imagined scenarios with their dolls and other children.

*Communicating between one another can strengthen their vocabulary by filling it with practical language. By communicating in this way with their friends, children gain insight into home routines that may be different from their own.

Art and Craft activities:-

Children are enjoying art and craft activities during the day. Children are engaging very well in art and craft activities as it helps to calm them down while using sensory material and children can learn how to wait for their turn too while other children having turn. 

Art and craft helps children to develop their fine motor skills, sensory skills and hand eye co ordination skills.

We have created a special wall to decorate all children's artwork.

Fine motor skills. Enhancing children's hand eye co-ordination and building levels of manual dexterity.

Identification of shapes, color and texture. Working with materials teaches them about colors, shapes and textures.

Creativity. Craft encourages children to play and experiment in a fun and relaxed environment.

I love Mirrors:-

Winter in the nursery room really love to see herself in mirror. she enjoys playing with books and balls when she sits by herself and keep herself busy while exploring and engaging with the experiences.

Children's Favorite place to play:-

In the nursery room each children have their comfort corner where they like to spend most of the time during the day.

Dear parents,

Please accept the invitation from story park from me is you haven't accept it yet so you will be able to see your child's learning journey.

Also please provide a family photo in the room so we can add it up on the wall to create a sense of belonging in the room.
