Mailing Letters home

Th children were excited to be able to send letters home to their families. The children engaged in this experience together taking their time to first build their letter box using red paint and working as a team.

Each child was given a letter template with the opportunity to draw and write what they would like.

When it was time to write in their addresses the children had t use their memory recall skills in order to tell their teacher where they lived. Zeke was confident in explaining that he lived in Australia.

The children collected their letters from the front office at the end of the day and where excited to show their families what they had created.

Superhero Dress up!

Following interest from the Pre-Kinder children the center hosted a super hero dress up day. Leading up to the day the children spoke with their educators about what they where going to dress up as.

The children loved speaking to each other about what they where going to wear and what super powers they would have.

When the day arrived the children came dressed to the nines! We had Captain America, Cat boy, spider-man, hulk, and batman... and of cause Super Teacher.

Creating with boxes

The children have been enjoying their time this week creating large experiences with boxes. We have been busy creating, castles, cubby houses, and even a rocket ship. The children have been loving the opportunity to enjoy creative expression with no limitations. They have been working on using their social skills to collaborate in their creations taking into account what their friends may want to build, and working together to complete the task.
