It’s been a very busy fortnight in PE! Here are some of the highlights, 

Run Club 

It has been fantastic seeing such a high level of participation continue at our Run Club each Tuesday and Thursday morning, we have had over 450 students across the school participate so far this year. We wanted to give a special congratulation to Jared S in Level 5 who is the first student to complete 100 laps in 2023, over 60km of running in 7 weeks! 

Whitehorse Division Swimming     

On Thursday the 9th of March, 11 of our Level 3-6 students attended the Whitehorse Division swimming carnival. We were extremely proud of all the students efforts on the day against very tough competition, lots of our students set new Personal Best times & they can’t wait to showcase their swimming skills at our Rangeview Swimming Carnival in 2024. Great job!  

Team Victoria 

Congratulations to the following students who are trying out for Team Victoria in the coming weeks! These students will have their skills tested against the best primary students in Victoria in their chosen sports. Good luck!!           

PE Sessions & Friday Sports  

During our sport sessions this fortnight we have been working on throwing, aiming and catching with our Prep-2 students, whilst our Level 3-6 students have been continuing to grow their skills in triple jump, relays & hurdles ahead of our Athletics carnival later this term. 

Twilight Sports  

It was great to see the Rangeview community together celebrating our Twilight Sports night on the 2nd of March. There was lots of fun, laughter & smiles with so many students (and parents) racing in the sprints and various other races on the night. Thank you to our wonderful Parents and Friends committee for organising the BBQ and icy poles & Noel Jones Mitcham for the coffee cart.
