Flora and Fauna

Welcome to our first interview for Flora & Fauna! 

This week we interviewed Mrs O'Keefe who is our Flora & Fauna cooking teacher. 

How many years at Rangeview have taught cooking at Rangeview? This is my third year teaching cooking at Rangeview!

What is your favourite food to cook? 

I like sweet baking such as cakes and brownies! 

How did you get into cooking? 

I started it at university and have liked it ever since. 

What is your favourite part about teaching students to cook? My favourite part is that kids are trying new things and are being excited about cooking. 

How did you become a cooking teacher? 

Ms Ferguson asked if anyone would like to be the cooking teacher and I put up my hand to do it! 

We really enjoy having the cooking rotation as she makes cooking fun, cooks great food and gets us to try new things!
