Performing Arts

The Music Room has been buzzing with activity this term, with many talented students joining our Junior Choir, Senior Choir, Band, and Rock Band this year. All the ensembles have been working tirelessly, rehearsing for their first performances of the year. Make sure to keep an eye out for our choirs performing on Harmony Day, where they will showcase their impressive vocal skills. Meanwhile, the Rock Band is set to rock the final assembly of this term, while the Band is gearing up for their performance early next term. We are thrilled to see our students' hard work and dedication showcased in such fantastic performances!

The Foundation students have been delving into the world of music, learning about different instruments, singing, dancing, and playing games to enhance their musical abilities. Meanwhile, Level 1 and 2 students have been honing their composing and performance skills, creating their own short songs and presenting them to their classmates. The Level 3 and 4 students have been experimenting with claves, composing unique patterns with a partner, and performing their compositions to the class.

The Level 5 and 6 students have been taking their musical talents to the next level, learning to play the ukulele. They have practiced diligently, and their hard work paid off during their performance for their buddy classes. The junior students were thoroughly impressed with the Level 5 and 6 students' performances and enjoyed learning to play the ukulele with their buddies' guidance.

Preparations for the Level 5/6 Production of ‘What A Knight’ are already underway. The cast has been carefully selected, and the students have started rehearsing their lines, bringing the story to life with their incredible acting skills. We are eagerly anticipating the final production of this spectacular show, which promises to be a feast for the eyes and ears. With months of hard work and dedication ahead of us, we cannot wait to see how it all comes together!
