Homework should not be compulsory

I have no doubt that homework can be very boring. I strongly believe that homework should not be compulsory because it takes away time from family, you could have homework from somewhere else, and after a long day of school, is this how you should be treated?
Firstly, it takes time away from family, because you need to be social with your family and grandparents. Also, maybe your family has something important for you. You might not be able to check because you’re running late. All because of homework.
Secondly, you might have homework from somewhere else and be really busy, and you can't return it on time. How would this make you feel?
Lastly, imagine coming home from school after a long hot day but having to do homework. This is definitely not how you should be treated after school.
In conclusion, I think kids should not do homework at all because it takes away time from family. You might have homework from somewhere else and you should not be treated like this when you come home. That's why I think homework should not be compulsory.

Homework should definitely be compulsory! Why do you ask? Well this is why. It helps with Maths that you are bad at, it helps you relax and it is fun!
Firstly, we can learn more about Maths that some kids are confused about, so they can read over it and learn more at that time. It is very educational for all kids. And it is for our own good!
Secondly, sometimes it can be fun. Sometimes you can chill and relax at that time. It will be very relaxing and nice to spend some time in your room while doing homework. And now you have an excuse for everyone to be quiet.
Lastly, it is great for kids to have homework. It is a good education. At St.Mary's, all grades 4s to 6s have homework so the old Grade Fours would be upset that they got homework and we do not!
In conclusion, we can learn more about Maths that we get confused about. It can be fun to have homework and it is great for all kids.

Homework should not be compulsory

How do you feel about homework? All tired by 5pm. Coming home and dumping your school bag on the ground to lay down on the couch. After 20 minutes, remembering you have to hand in your homework in 1 minute on google classroom! You already do work at school so why do it at home? If students do it then teachers should do it too. There are even 20 reasons why homework should be banned. Read further to find out.
Firstly, kids are forgetting to do their homework and at the last minute they remember. Kids can never get their homework done because teachers are making funny times for kids to hand in their homework. It will make you feel pressured and worried, you won't get any homework done or you'll rush and get a ug. (un gradable)
Secondly, you`ve done so much work at school. You`ll be too tired the next day to do anything, even pick up a pencil because you stayed up too late doing homework. All you`ll want to do the next day is sleep in bed.

Kids will have absolutely no time for exercise. Theres absolutely no time for kids who want to do art at the end of day. Imagine how much it effects people that only want to do sport or art. If teachers care about their students why let them suffer? The urge of wanting to do after school curriculums when they know they have piles of homework that needs to be done. Homework often brakes students confidence. Students will start concentrating! Do you really want students to think teachers are mean? Homework often encourages cheating. Do you really want your students cheating?
In conclusion, if you are trying to prove these pieces of work wrong I recommend not trying at all until you have more than 100 reasons. Students need freedom from homework so listen to this piece of work and bring it to them by fighting for no homework. So what do you think about homework now?

I believe that homework should not be compulsory. First it is time consuming from family and pets. Secondly, if you do work at school, you may think it’s abuse to do more at home. Finally you get home for school and it is another two hours of work so that's 8 hours of school.
First it is time consuming from family and pets. What happens if you ask your neighbour that you could play after school and then you remember that you have homework. Imagine how annoyed you would be. No basketball with neighbours all because of homework.
Secondly you've done work at school like doing maths, shapes, 3D nets and persuasive writing. Say you are tired, you want to sit on the couch or sleep, then two seconds before you sleep or sit on the couch your mum or dad may say homework! You may have a big frown on your face because you’re so tired.
Finally, extra work is abuse. How would you feel if you have just worked your butt off at school and then you came home to more work, now that’s abuse! Imagine if you want to train for a sport and now you can’t because of homework. Now you feel annoyed. Now that's abuse because of homework. You want to work hard to be good but it’s stopping you from being good.
In conclusion, homework should not be compulsory. You can't see your neighbours and play basketball, you can’t sleep or sit on the couch and it’s stopping you from being good at sports. Homework is abuse!
Homework should be a choice

Kids and teenagers should have a choice if they want to do homework or not. I strongly support that students should choose if they want to do homework because some people have sport activities in the afternoon and no time for homework. Also, some students have different career dreams such as being a musician or playing a game professionally.
Firstly, some students don’t have time in the afternoon to do homework, probably playing sports, going out to dinner and spending time with family. Playing sport is a great way to gain athleticism and learn social skills.
Secondly, some kids have no need to do homework, while some do. Some students want to work hard in school and at home doing homework. Also, some students have different dreams like a musician, a magician and playing a sport professionally.
Finally, some kids prefer to go outside or go to bed early instead of doing homework, which are all healthy benefits for people’s limbs and muscles.
In conclusion, students should have a choice to do homework because of sport, family time, different dreams, and preferring to not do it. I strongly protest that students should choose to do homework.

I strongly believe homework should be a choice. Why? Well some people love homework, others don't. After school for some people are for activities, family and sport. However, other people need more school work to have something to do at home.
Firstly different people, different likes right? Some people enjoy homework and would love to do it daily. While other people don't. For example some people think after school is for relaxing and having fun.
Additionally, after school I do sports and activities to get physical. Or spending time with family and friends to get social. I have no time for more school work.
And finally, some people need homework to keep them entertained and busy, because they might not have things planned every day. For example I always need something to do.
In conclusion, it is obvious that homework should be a choice because some people enjoy it and some don't. After school is for family, sports and activities. Finally some people need homework to be entertained. So that's why I strongly believe homework should be a choice. Agree?
