In this edition of MY FUTURE Careers News, I wish to draw your attention to the opportunities that are being offered by our tertiary institutions over the Easter holiday period. The University of Melbourne has a fantastic program for current Year 10 students interested in Engineering and IT, whilst Deakin University offers campus tours for prospective students and families to immerse themselves in campus life both here in Melbourne and at the Geelong and Warrnambool campuses. 

Year 10 students have been informed of the opportunity to undertake a week of Work Experience in the first week of the July school holidays (Monday, 26 to Friday, 30 June). Students can opt in to this program and are encouraged to use the upcoming break to seek out employers willing to take them.
