Development Sessions in November
Following on from the success of last year's development sessions, we have another development program coming up in November. At this stage, restrictions allow for contact sport for U18s to resume by November, so we're hoping it stays that way!
Our TEM Academy will run over 4 weeks on Thursdays in November from 5-7pm. It is open to all juniors U12-U18, including goalkeepers.
We will have some elite special guest coaches throughout the sessions, including our very own Josh Pollard (former Kookaburra), Carly James (Junior Australian Squad), Andrew Scanlon (former Junior Australian Squad), Guillem Canas (U21 Spanish team) and Will Karrafa (U21 Victorian GK).
We have also partnered with Jo Bowden and Run Ready who will work with the players on speed, agility and fitness.
The Academy is also open to players from other clubs, so feel free to spread the word.

Term 1 Hockey School Roadshows
At the start of every year we run hockey clinics in local primary schools as a way of recruiting new players to the club. We are allocated the schools by Hockey Victoria so all the local schools are shared between hockey clubs in our Flames zone. We do have a strong relationship with 5 of the schools (Malvern PS, Malvern Central, Lloyd Street, Glen Iris PS and Lauriston) but if anyone has any contacts with the other schools listed below, we'd love to hear from you. It's always easier to get a foot in the door when you know someone!
