OPTIMINDS CHAMPS!

The Optiminds challenge went digital this year as we could not meet at the JCU campus to run the regional finals.

St Mary’s was excited to have three teams participate:

Team 1: 'CAKAM' competed in the Science Engineering challenge (DIV 3) consisting of Year 10 students Cooper Hume, Andrew Oxford, Mykel Brown, Elliot Arthur and Keanu Hillman.

Team 2: 'The Curious 4' competed in the Science Engineering Challenge (DIV 2) with year 7 students Lane Stone, Avaydeep Dhother, Jacob Bailey, Joshua Rolland, Jacob Bailey.

Team 3: 'Wisdom Minds' competed in the language Literature Challenge (DIV 2) with Year 7 students Abigail Shliahov, Ava Abel, Samara Ireland, Lily English, Grace Endres-Blakeney.

Congratulations to Team 1 and Team 3 who received first prize in their divisions!
