If you have any queries or would like to set up a payment plan, please call the office on 5334 6328.\n\nHAVE YOUR FINANCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES CHANGED SINCE TERM 1?\n\n\n\nDO YOU HAVE A NEW CENTRELINK CARD?\n\n\n\nIf so, you may be eligible to apply for a 50% CSEF (Camps, Sports, Excursions Fund) payment in 2020.\n\n\n\nDue to COVID-19 the final eligibility date for CSEF in the 2020 year, has been extended from the 14th April 2020 until the 5th October 2020.\n\n\n\nFamilies holding a valid means-tested concession card or temporary foster parents are eligible to apply. \n\n\n\nEligible families will receive $62.50 per student, paid into your family account at Miners Rest Primary School.\n\n\n\nFamilies who have already received CSEF for the 2020 year are ineligible, this updated funding will apply to new applications only.\n\n\n\nThe CSEF Application Form 2020 is available from the school office and we also need a copy of the Health Care Card (can be emailed to the school)\n\n\n\nApplications close on Friday 20th November 2020.\n\nPAYMENT PLANS CAN BE EASY ON YOU AND YOUR BUDGET \n\nHAVE YOU CONSIDERED SETTING UP A REGULAR PAYMENT SCHEDULE WITH THE SCHOOL? \n\n\n\nAt Miners Rest Primary School we strive to provide all students with a high quality educational experience, with only necessary costs passed onto parents. However we also understand that for some, financial times are tough and family budgets are tight. We offer a number of options to families to make payments of school charges, including payment plans. Regular payments can be made to Miners Rest Primary School via a BPay schedule. Once these are set up, each payment then transfers to us and is immediately receipted to your account, without you having to do anything else. They will be writing a letter introducing themselves and the school. In lieu of the Canberra trip, we have organised for some virtual excursions in Week Four. Students will be participating in activities at the Museum of Australian Democracy, Government House and the War Memorial over Zoom. Year Six students are eagerly awaiting their visits to their respective secondary schools as well.\n\nGovernment\n\nYears Five and Six are participating in many activities relating to the theme of Government. In lieu of the Canberra trip, we have organised for some virtual excursions in Week Four. Students will be participating in activities at the Museum of Australian Democracy, Government House and the War Memorial over Zoom. We will include some photos in the next newsletter.\n\nBook Week and Writers Festival\n\nYear Six students will be delivering Book Week activities to the school as part of our Book Week Celebrations in Week Four. They are busy working in groups to prepare some exciting tasks and experiencing the life of a teacher…..
