From the Classroom... Room 13

Improving our narratives for Writers' Festival, writing letters to our Kinder buddies and devising Book Week lessons for our Year 3/4 children are just some of the activities we have been focusing on in our classroom so far this term! 

The Year Fives were SUPER excited finding out who their buddies are for next year and have been working hard writing a letter to them. Additionally, there was a buzz when our Sixes found out which book they will read during Book Week and have begun devising questions and activities for our younger students. Room 13 have been amazing, and I think we can all agree - it is SO nice to be back with our friends!

With a focus on Wellbeing this term, a clear highlight across our room has been the introduction of our "Personal and Social hour". During this time, not only do students spend quality time with their peers while enjoying a board game of choice, they are reading or explaining the rules of the game, problem solving, strategizing, boosting their language skills and sharpening their focus!
