Not the weather!!!!

I will miss the friends I made and will still have for the years to come

How old were you when you started playing hockey and how did you start? Did either of your parents play?

I play my first game at the age of 5 and my father and all his family play.

What’s the highest level of hockey you’ve played?

I play for Spain at Under age National Team and National League in Spain

Do you plan on playing again when you’re back home?

Yes, with my old mates from my old club

Are you going to continue coaching when you get back to your home club in Barcelona?

Yes I will be involve in the coaching at my club, call Junior in Sant Cugat del valles, really close to Barcelona

What do you enjoy most about coaching?

Helping people achieve their dreams

You met your English wife Sara here in Australia. How did you two meet?

Of course in a Aussie BBQ in Princes Park

You then had your two children, Santi and Freya here in Melbourne making them Australian citizens, which makes you a truly multicultural family! Do you plan on staying in Spain now or is there a possibility you’ll come back to Australia in the future? Or would you even go to live in the UK?

We are not close to any option in the future and we definitely will consider come back if is the right think to do for our family, we are Australians as much as Spanish or British.

Australia is home for our family and we will visit as often as we can specially after this stupid virus goes away

What is the one thing you would hope TEM players have learnt from your time coaching here at the club?

Spanish!!!

What is something that people would be surprised to know about you?

Not sure about this one, maybe if they don’t know by now is better they still don’t know

Thank you for everything you’ve done at TEM over the years, you’ve made a great contribution to the club during your time here. Best of luck in Barcelona- hopefully we’ll see you and your family sometime in the future.
