Our children have been learning and working hard on their portfolios.  They will use their portfolios to use to present to you their progress in Semester 1 along with their learning goals.  Children will also be able to talk to you about their future learning.

Student Interviews 27th June

On June 27th children will be explaining their learning at the student led conference.  

Interview times can be booked via compass, if you need any assistance with this please call our administration staff on 8560 6079.

Interviews will start at 1:30pm. Students will be dismissed at 1:00pm on this day. 

Afternoon Tea - Wednesdays

Ever Wednesday 2.30 pm to 3pm we are inviting all parents to afternoon tea to enhance community spirit at our School.  These will be held in our Preforming Arts Room.  Please feel free to come along.

Curriculum Day

On June 21st local schools will be closed for a curriculum day which is being held at Truganina South Primary School.  We will all be working together to learn how to improve the writing process with children.  

This will be a student free day.

State Budget

I am writing to let you know that unfortunately we were not funded for our second stage of buildings in the recent State Budget.

This means that no building works will be started this year and our school will not be completed.

We have to wait for the State budget in 2020 when hopefully we will be funded.

We are very disappointed with this outcome and School Council will be working with the Minister of Education, James Merlino and our local member Sarah Connolly to ensure we are funded next year.

This decision will delay the school starting Year 7, 8 and 9 as we do not have the adequate accommodation to cater for the secondary component of our school.

Child Psychologist Session

The Child Physiologist Session held last Friday 7 June facilitated by Caroline Dreaver, was a great success with positive feedback from parents who came along.

Term 2 End Details

On 28th June Term 2 Finishes.  Children will be dismissed from school at 2:00pm.
