Community Service for 2020

Would you like to get a head start on your Community Service for 2020 and be involved in the Bendigo Christmas Concert?

Saturday the 7th of December – volunteers needed to set up the concert.

Sunday the 8th of December 1.30pm- 4.30pm – ushering, crowd assistance and packing up.

Volunteering at The Discovery Centre

This is a wonderful opportunity to volunteer at the Discovery Centre over the school holidays.

If you are aged 15 years and over and love Science, Coding & Robotics then this is a great way to spend some time over the holidays and build up your Community Service hours.

The focus these holidays is on coding and robotics owing to the current Code Breakers Exhibition.  There will be training and support for the volunteers and you will also be welcome to use the vertical slide, view the exhibits and go into the science shows for free during your shifts. 

The expectation is that you will volunteer at least three shifts over the holidays.  Ongoing school holiday volunteers regularly end up with paid employment at Discovery or a strong reference.
