Pick My Project Completion

The three new basketball and tennis courts were completed by Grass Sports just prior to the Twilight Carnival and have already been greatly utilised by students and the community. Today will see the completion of the fitness stations by Absolute Turf and A Space Playgrounds. Landscaping will be undertaken by the school over the next two weeks in preparation for the planting of a second native garden in the autumn.

Native Garden Project Completion

The first native garden has been completed as part of a school-wide sustainability project. This extensive landscaping at the eastern end of the school was prepared by Nigel De Kauwe and all of the planting of the indigenous and native plants was completed by students.

Twilight Carnival Reflection

The Twilight Carnival was a great success which was fully supported by the Mount View community. Thank you to all of the volunteers who contribute to this vibrant occasion. The large number of rides meant that queues were minimised. The community foods provided great variety and quality while the numerous food trucks provided broad options. The coffee van ran out of milk!! I welcome any feedback from the community so that we can plan for the 2020 Twilight Carnival.

End of Year

The school year will conclude with a final assembly on Friday, 20th December. The assembly will begin at 1 pm and end at 1:30 pm.
