Senior School Report

Hello everyone from Senior School!

Very exciting times as we head into the middle of Term 3 for all students in VCE and VCAL. It’s really hard to believe that our fantastic Year 12 students only have a few short months left until exams are upon us. It really does seem like just yesterday that these students were excitedly coming through the gates in year 7!

My god these last few months are going to fly by quickly, particularly if we are not on top of things. Practice exams are now available on the wall in the Year 12 centre, and all VCE students are greatly encouraged to grab an exam or two for practice. A simple fact, the more practice exams a student does, the better prepared they will be for the End of the year.

On this not, second week of the holidays, we will be in at school running practice exams, under exam conditions, for all students to practice under. We value practice exams so highly that we will be giving up our holidays to come into to school for our students, and we highly encourage our students to make the most of these opportunities.

Switched on students are also aware that Study Seminars are being run, particularly in the September holidays. Get online and have a search for what’s out there, as these sessions, run by experts in the subjects, are amazing sessions that can give huge boosts to students understanding of subjects, and potentially make a big difference to end scores.

Keep up the good work everyone, a few more months of hard work and the rewards we earn will be waiting.
