Compass Parent Portal

The new Compass Parent Portal is now live.

Individual letters have been posted today which contain instructions and your unique login details. Please look out for this in the mail.

Once you have registered on the website, you will be able to download the Compass App to your phone. You will then be able to receive notifications about upcoming events, update your details, enter absences for your child and more.

Different modules will be rolled out over time, giving you more access and details. In the meantime please take the time to register and download the App.

Once you have registered using the instructions in your letter, download the App:

1. Search for “Compass School Manager” in ITunes (Apps Store)  for iPhone)  or  Android App Store - (Google Play)

2. Search for GUNNEDAH.

3. You will be asked to put in your individual login details.

4. You will then be taken to the homepage of our school's Parent Portal.

Year 6 Sydney Excursion

Year 6 are currently enjoying a fantastic excursion to Sydney.

So far they have been on a Harbour Cruise and a Rocks Walking Tour, been to Madame Tussaud's, Sea Life Aquarium, The Police and Justice Museum, The Sydney Tower, The Art Gallery of NSW and Government House.

They still have plenty more exploring to do.

Be sure to check out our Face Book page and follow their adventures.

Pink it Up St Xavier's

Next Thursday, 24 October, we would like all students to bring in a gold coin donation to dress in pink (or wear an item of clothing that includes the colour pink). We are very aware of the economic situation of many of our families as a result of the drought but the purpose of this particular fundraiser is so worthwhile.

Year 5 will also be having a "pink food stall". Items may be purchased for $1.00 and will be for sale at morning tea and lunch.

Any other donations should be sent in to the Office.

Thank you in advance for getting behind such a worthwhile cause.

 Uniform

Uniform Policy reminders...

Hair: Should be neat and tidy at all times and if long it must be tied back using maroon, blue or white hair ties. The Schools Advisory Council  has determined that hair length should not be less than a number 4 comb unless there is a medical reason. ( Eg head lice)

Current cuts that show fading, mohawks and long fringes etc are very cool but please save them for the holidays.
