Biz - E - Kidz Update
2023 summer holiday and before and after school care bookings
Bookings for 2023 opened earlier this term, but can still be made online. To make a booking:
- log onto or create a Smartcentral account here
- from the drop down menu, select the service you require (choose from Before school, after school or vacation care)
- check your information is up to date, especially medical or court order information and authorised collection contacts
- Select the booking you require and click submit
Any bookings made after the last day of term (20/12/22) will be processed when Biz - E Kidz reopens on the 9/1/23 and are subject to availability.
Biz - E - Kidz relocation for summer holiday program and term 1
As communicated by the school recently, (see the Compass post dated 6/12/22) construction delays have meant that the new campus will not be operational at the start of the school year
The school has been working with the Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) to put in place interim arrangements for the school and for the new kindergarten.
For Term 1, 2023 Molesworth Street Kindergarten will operate from our Errol Street Campus (subject to regulatory approval) and relocate to its permanent home on level five of the Molesworth Street Campus when works are completed, for the start of Term 2.
To support this, the school’s OSHC program (Biz – E – Kidz) will be temporarily relocated with all costs associated with the relocation to be borne by the VSBA.
At this point we plan to base our headquarters in the FLEX on the southside of the school with our prep program running from the library. In addition the these spaces, we intend to use the Com and the gym.
The interim kindergarten space will be adapted to suit the needs of the kindergarten children in line with national early childhood education and care regulatory requirements.
This will include access to an outdoor play area that is separate to the primary school playground. To support this, works to retrofit the kindergarten space will commence on site from December and will be complete by the end of January (subject to regulatory approval).

We are currently working with the school and the regulatory authority to determine the best space for Biz – E – Kidz for the summer holiday program and term 1 of 2023 and will let families know before the end of the school year.

Please send all email to the above address and save it to your contacts. Although currently still operational, the old email addresses will soon be retired.

A really big thank you to all of the Biz - E - Kidz families and wider community for your support throughout 2022. It's been a really big year for us, planning for the new campus, and establishing our ‘new normal’ amidst the challenges that those things also bring. A special thank you to everyone for your understanding through our ongoing staff shortage.
