Western Edge Cluster Student Awards
On Tuesday 22 November 2022 our senior secondary students enrolled in VET courses were nominated for awards at the Western Edge Cluster Student Awards night.
Our students were selected for their individual awards out of over 300 other students enrolled in VETs from schools such as Kurunjang Secondary College, Melton Secondary College and Staughton College.
Students enrolled in VET complete a Certificate II or III in different trades where they engage in practical and theoretical components.

Breakfast Club Awards
Melton Specialist School offers Breakfast Club three times a week for students who are unable to eat breakfast at home. The program services 23 classes in five sub schools, across three days. Breakfast is hand delivered to each student by a dedicated class of pupils. The team of year nine/ten students set up the day before with the support of their teacher and classroom staff. This program helps to support students in developing their everyday living skills and pathways for the future. This includes order taking, time managing skills, preparing food as well as working as part of a team.
