The Age Schools Summit
Shan Christensen selected as a panelist for the 2021 Convention
Last month, Huntingtower Deputy Principal Shan Christensen was invited to speak at ‘The Age Schools Summit’. This conference, held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on the 27th of April, facilitated a much-needed insightful debate and discussion around the future of education in Victoria and wider Australia.
Mrs Christensen was one of the select few panelists chosen to deliberate current educational issues. The focus of the panel was School Performance and Improving Educational Outcomes. Huntingtower was selected because we have been identified as a non-selective school that constantly appears in the top of school rankings in Victoria.
This panel was reported as a standout session for many people during the summit as it offered the opportunity to hear leaders and practiced educators take on the big issues.
To be a part of this conversation is an amazing achievement and honour.
Congratulations Mrs Christensen!
