Year 4 Camp

Year 4 camp was on the 19-21st of May at Cave Hill Creek and it was the BEST! One of the great things about it was that it was in a beautiful location. The lake was always glittering and the trees towered above you. The cabins were nice and some of the girls got to go in the glamping tents which was very exciting (except when it got below 0 degrees! 🥶 ). The fairy light lit path looked like something from a movie scene as you ran down it at night with your friends, the wind blowing through your hair to a warm tent and a sleepless night ahead.

Some of the activities we participated in were:

• Abseiling

• Canoeing

• Low ropes course and bouldering

• Archery

• Map reading and hut building

 • Bike riding

The food was quite nice. People strongly recommend the lasagna. “The lasagna was perfectly seasoned and it tasted as if it had just been cooked. It was really yummy,” said classmate Quinn Davidson. Those three days were so much fun! A big thanks to all the staff at Cave Hill Creek and all the teachers who helped organise this event!
