Mathew Hebbard

Hi, my name is Mr. Hebbard and I'm very lucky to be working in a super team up in Year 2 land this year. This is my second year at Ocean Grove Primary School and I love coming to school each day and seeing our amazing staff and students. This is my 9th year of being a teacher and I was lucky enough to go to University with Mr. Roberts. Teaching has always been something I wanted to do and it's amazing seeing students learn and pick up new skills each and every day. At home, I am very lucky to have two beautiful daughters, Evie is almost 3 and a half years old and Millie is 10 months old today! My partner Alex and I are getting married at the end of October this year. On the weekends all of us love going to playgrounds, the beach and taking our dog Billy for a walk. I also play football for Drysdale and have had some easy games over the past two seasons where I get to play against Mr Horbury.

Gen Lee

Hi, my name is Gen Lee. I started working at Ocean Grove ten years ago and I am a teacher of the terrific Year 3 cohort. I love teaching in year 3 because I have the privilege of taking students on many experiences for the first time, such as: their first overnight camp, inter house cross country, athletics and swimming sports.

I have two teenagers at home and our family love spending time together outside biking, surfing, and our favourite sport is skiing, in the winter. I even meet my husband at the snow and I used to live in Canada, working at Whistler Mountain near Vancouver. I also love to bake and get into the garden when I'm at home, and I play Netball each week with friends.
