NHS BrainSTEM team

On Monday the year 9 BrainSTEM team attended a Kickstarter day for 7th Innovation Challenge at MYOB offices. The workspace environment was modern and different from traditional offices with an open plan workspace. 

The aim of BrainSTEM is to develop skills such as learning to work in a team and building relationships. The presenters at the Kickstarter day explained to us about the changing workplace and how STEM skills can prepare us for the future. Our group will be working with a mentor of our preference for 12 weeks on a project of our choice that will be presented at the end of the 12 weeks.

The Kickstarter day really inspired our team and we are very excited to start on our project. We meet our mentor next week who will influence the focus of our project.
