The Troll Doll below is one of my favourite pieces to date. Thanks to Victoria for this special piece of history.
Introducing, Petunia Clotilde Samantha Pobjoy. Named by Janine Swann, Petunia was taken to all sports events as the mascot for Burman House. The Burman badge is not from the correct era. If you have a Burman House badge, circa 1968, please consider donating it so Petunia can wear it proudly.
Along with Rosemary's delightful story on page two, we are delighted to share the following photos that Rosemary shared with us.
Rosemary and Cecily (both in the following photos) are firm friends to this day and very rarely miss a Walsh Club gathering.
Many thanks once again to Dr Pat Phair, peer year 1947, who brought along these treasures to the Walsh Club lunch in March. The beautiful embroidery work was done by Pat herself at just eight years of age.
Our thanks to Lauren who kindly delivered a treasure trove of memorabilia earlier this year. There are some very interesting and delightful items to share here.
Below is an original letter of reference written for Ruth by Mrs McKie in 1954.
We have formed an Archiving sub-committee in preparation or our 2023 Centenary. If you have anything you think might be of interest or would like to join the committee, please contact Deb Duce at duced@kilvington.vic.edu.au to discuss.
