Junior School

Magnificent Manners

The students in the Junior School have settled into the rhythm of school life and have magnificent manners with greetings of, “Good morning, how are you? Good afternoon,” which is something to be very proud of. Thank you for encouraging and supporting our students to be respectful and kind.

Junior School Swimming Carnival

Next Tuesday,14 February is the Junior School Swimming Carnival at Trinity College.  Information regarding the carnival has been sent out to parents already. The carnival is a day where students have the opportunity to participate, compete and demonstrate their sportsmanship. We look forward to parents attending to support their boys and if possible, volunteer on the day.  Please contact Luke Thompson if you are able to help on the day.

Junior School Parent Information Night

The Junior School Parent Information Night is Wednesday, 15 February.  This evening is a wonderful opportunity to meet your child’s teachers and demonstrate you are working in partnership with the teachers, staff and school community to educate your son.  It is a very powerful message. If you are unable to attend the Parent Information Evening please make the time to meet with your child’s class teacher to collect any information you may miss.

The First TOBA Award of 2023

The Trinity Old Boys Association has long been the representative of our strong Trinity culture. They are an institution of generosity, inclusiveness and excellence who hand on the baton of being a Man for Others to the next generation.

The first 2022 TOBA award winner for Year 6 Blue in 2023 is well deserving of this award as he exhibits all that TOBA represents. While these awards are always difficult to give with so many outstanding boys, only one can be chosen, which only adds to this awards prestige.

This boy has shown himself to be a Man for Others through the way that he conducts himself. He is a thoughtful and kind student who is always willing to help others, especially when no-one is watching. He simply does it because it is the right thing do. He has a curious and inquisitive nature, and as to what I’ve seen so far, he is enthusiastic about his learning and getting the very best out of himself at all times.

A friendly, kind and humble young man who has genuine care for everyone around him. Congratulations, Alexander Perry. A truly worthy recipient of the TOBA award!

Please Be Aware

Many students are bringing Pokemon cards and the like to school and trading. Though we are monitoring the situation, we would appreciate your support in helping us deter the students from bringing this to school.

Prefects, Sport or Cultural Leaders

The following students will be representing and serving the Trinity College community this year as prefects, sport or cultural leaders. These boys have demonstrated and are called to demonstrate honesty, service (Men for Others), integrity and right judgement. I congratulate them each on their appointed positions and look forward to working with them.
