Pancake Tuesday

The Prep – 2 Learning Community celebrated Pancake Tuesday this week. Students enjoyed the story ‘The Runaway Pancake’ before learning about procedural texts. Prep students wrote about making a pancake, Year 1 and 2 students matched each step of the pancake recipe with the appropriate picture. Some students challenged themselves by writing the recipe using their prior experience of making pancakes. The best part of Pancake Day was eating the delicious pancakes with our chosen toppings.
