Messages from the Office and School Leaders
As a school focused on sustainability and preserving our environment for future generations our student leaders last year put a lot of work into encouraging our families to reduce the amount of single use plastic in lunch boxes.
It is our shared vision that we greatly reduce the amount of single use plastic that our school is sending to landfill and we need families on board to make this happen.
We highly encourage students and staff to bring package free food to school and be part of our vision to shape and enrich the world around us!

House Captains
This week our Grade 6 'House Captain' candidates had the opportunity to make a presentation on their suitability to lead their respective House Teams (Mercury, Neptune, Saturn, Jupiter). It was great to hear so many positive comments towards each candidate from peers and teachers. Congratulations to all who participated.
The following students were deemed successful by their peers.
Mercury - Albert Imhoff and Holly Don
Neptune - Olivia O'Brien (absent) and Christian Watson
Saturn - Zac McCredden and Bay Lamperd
Jupiter - Belle Parfitt and George Smith
Well done everyone!
Special thanks to the School Captains who were the authority in charge of the count.
Grade 6 Leadership Positions
In 2022, we were fortunate enough to have many school initiatives led by our grade 6 leaders. Many of these were developed as an extension of the students’ strengths and interests.
Building on our experiences, this year’s Grade 6 students will be able to sign up to initiatives that have been run in the past and will also have an opportunity to develop new initiatives in 2023. Over the coming weeks these positions will be disscussed further and developed into meanigful experiences for all of our Grade 6 students.
