Gratitude

Thank you to my family

I would like to say a good thank you to my family for encouraging me to come to MITS here in Melbourne. From when we heard of MITS mum wanted me to go to MITS so I can get a good and better education here.

So we applied for MITS and a couple months later we found out that I got into MITS and we all were so excited then a few months later we found out that my uncles girlfriend got pregnant and they were having the baby 6 days before I left to MITS which was exciting.

My family always support me anytime and I support them anytime as well. I am proud to be a Torres Strait Islander and I love all my aka’s/grandma and athe’s/grandpa because they teach me things like cooking and how to stay clean.

When I'm older I want to be an athlete and run in the Olympics.

My sister

Dear Tarsh,

My love, my heart, my idol but most importantly my big sister. I love you so much I can't even explain it. You have been helping me so much to adapt to MITS. Whenever I call you you'll always answer and whenever I need you you're always a call away. I love how you magically can stop me crying and easily get me to communicate how I'm feeling.

I love your confidence and trying new things. I think that's what I get from you, you're not shame and you're so DEADLY! You're so beautiful on the outside and the inside because we look the same, if I could live with you I would. I just love Ledge and Jarrahly, I don’t want Ledge to grow up, he's just the cutest.

So I just want to let you know I love you so much! I can’t wait to see you next and just to let you know one more time I love you unconditionally and I am really grateful for you.

From Yulky your fav sister xoxoxo

People I am grateful for

Someone at the boarding house that has been helping is Jeremiah because he wakes everyone up, and whenever I have pain in my body or feel sick he helps me so I don't need to get up and make it worse.

The second person that I'm grateful for is Kobe (Boarding Coordinator) because he is very chill, nice and not too strict. He's just perfect, sometimes he plays with us and helps me.

I am grateful for Nana because she is very nice, funny and is good at cooking. She takes me places without me asking, supports me at MITS and she is my favourite.
