Week 4 Already!

In schools, we tend to speak in weeks and terms as much as we speak in dates. This week is already Week 4, which means the term is going very quickly, even with 11 weeks this term. It has been great to see our new families and our new children (in Reception and in other year levels) around the school saying hi and getting to know everybody. Please say hello to any unfamiliar faces where you can.

A reminder that this newsletter, Inspire is an important source of information each week at St Paul. Please be sure to read and take note of information, including occasional changes to dates of events which is sometimes unavoidable in a busy school environment. And, as always, please contact the school office if you have any questions that haven’t been answered through our communication channels.

Volunteers and Visitors

All families were emailed our updated COVID-19 guidelines last week, including an updated vaccination policy. Vaccination is strongly recommended but not required for staff and volunteers. If you have been waiting to volunteer, we very much look forward to having you join us. Please ask at the school office for information about becoming a volunteer. Thank you to those many family members  who are already helping with our sports teams as coaches and supporter.

At St Paul we have guidelines about who has access to classrooms during the school day, for child safety and emergency procedures. This means all visitors are signed in at the office as helping as a volunteer in the school between 9am and 3pm. If you need to drop something off to your child after 9 or before 3, please visit the office and ask for us to take it to the classroom.

If you are collecting a child early for the day, it is also important that you come to the office and ask for your child to be collected from the office. ALL VISITORS to the school before 3pm are asked to speak to our office staff first. Parents collecting children at the end of the school day will be able to gain access to the school from 3pm onwards.
