Welcome to the Library for 2023

Welcome to another great year for our Library. In a change this year every student will attend the library, for borrowing, on Monday.

Kindergarten to Year 4 will attend weekly.

Stage 3 students will attend library for borrowing each fortnight. Year 5 will attend on odd weeks (Weeks 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11) and Year 6 will attend even weeks (Weeks 2, 4, 6, 8, 10)

Please encourage your child to bring their own, labelled, library bag each week, and to return books weekly which will ensure they do not miss out on borrowing.

All children may borrow 2 books each week.

The library will still be open every lunchtime throughout the week and children will be able to return and borrow at lunchtime also.

Scholastic Bookclub

Please consider purchasing children’s books from Bookclub. With 2 issues each term, bookclub offers newly published books as well as a wide variety of favourites at very competitive prices.

As an added bonus, each book purchased gives points to the library that allows us to receive many free books for our library. Over the year we have been able to add many books to our collection.

Karina does an amazing job organising and distributing bookclub brochures and books. If you would like to help with this volunteering position, please come and see me in the library on a Monday or Tuesday to discuss.
