Principal's Report

Report from our Principal: Duncan Arendse

Dear parents, friends and Father Arsenio,

Unfortunately the news was not as good as hoped but I would have to say expected. Given this I have met further with our school's leaders yesterday. The feedback on our remote learning is positive and will stay as is until the end of the term. The one aspect I ask you to make is to adjust whatever school work you need to to suit your home circumstances. We have the teachers, leaders, dedication and work ethic to deal with any academic issues this year and also in subsequent years. The most important aspect you can maintain is your child's wellbeing. I am grateful for the staff leading the breakout rooms we are trialling in the 1/2 level which are aimed at improving connectivity.

I am going to do literally whatever is possible to complete the sacramental program, hold our school production as late in the year as possible as well as get our students off to camp. None of this possible without the team of staff we have who are doing a great job and for which I continue to be grateful.

Please reach out (via email or phone) if we can assist in the meantime.

I hope that all our Fathers enjoy a great day on Sunday.

Have a great week

Duncan
