Term 4 - Hats

Term 3 Online Learning

All students did a fantastic job with their online learning this term.  Here are some photos of what they did - 

AFL Live 

This week the students at Mullum were treated to a live AFL online session courtesy of AFL Victoria.  Students were encouraged to dress in their favourite footy colours (brown and yellow - Go Hawks!...next year maybe?) and use a footy, round ball, soft toy or whatever they had on hand to participate in the online activities.  I hope everyone had a fun time and improved their skills on the way.

District Athletics - 18th October

Our sporting district has scheduled the District Athletics Carnival for 18th October - next term.  We are still unsure if this will be able to go ahead due to COVID restrictions, however, I have posted the team, listing events students have qualified for, in the Grade 3 & 4 and 5/6 PE Google Classrooms - go to the 'Stream' section.  All Grade 5/6 students have qualified or been placed into an event.  There are 24 Grade 3 & 4 students who qualified for this competition through our House Athletics held earlier this term.  Students may like to train for the District Athletics over the holidays using past activities that I set online in their PE Google Classrooms.  Have fun!

Division Cross Country & SSV Track and Field Championships - CANCELLED

Unfortunately, these events have been cancelled. But don't worry, because next year we will be back to run, throw and jump again.

Please, view the dates below as new dates have been added and some events cancelled due to restrictions in the current climate.

WHOLE SCHOOL SPORT DATES

• Monday 8 November to Friday 12 November (tbc)- Whole School Swimming Program at Aquanation.  Provision of this program is now awaiting 

OTHER SPORT DATES IN 2021

• Monday 18th October (tbc) – Warrandyte South District Athletics Carnival at Bill Sewart Aths Track.  For all Grade 5/6 students plus qualifying Grade 3/4 students via House Aths carnival.  All students will be transported by bus and supervised by Mullum teachers.  New back up dates:  19th/21st/or 22nd October.
• Thursday 28th October (tbc) – Maroondah/Manningham Division's Athletics Carnival at Bill Sewart Aths Track.  For qualifying students via District Aths carnival. Parent/guardian transport and supervision required.
• TBA - Eastern Metropolitan Athletics Carnival for qualifying students via the Division Aths carnival.  Parent/guardian transport and supervision required.
