Marko at Home
Dehne Bingham, Dad of Olive and Ruby has started a new restaurant based at the South Melbourne Market, and have started a concept called Marko At Home to provide people with a delicious plant-based dinner delivered to their door.
"After an amazing reception in our first week, 'Marko At Home' is returning this week for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and we've added delivery suburbs including the CBD, Carlton, Fitzroy and Collingwood!You know the deal:
1. Order before noon the day before on mryum.com/marko
2. Pick up from Marko between 3pm and 5pm the following day or have your 'Marko At Home' kit delivered to your door between 5pm and 7pm
3. Heat, eat and enjoy!
As a reminder, here is the current menu:
✨ Pickles from our barrels, house-made hummus, olives, Moroccan carrots, Mum’s cabbage salad
✨ Stuffed Vegetable Bellies filled with warm rice, nuts, raisins, fresh herbs
✨ Prime Rib of Pumpkin with tahini, green salsa, pomegranate gems (pictured)
✨ Melted Chickpeas with harissa and sage (pictured). As a special treat for week two we have added a sweet treat to finish your meal - candied orange peel dipped in dark chocolate and pistachio (pictured above)!"

This week is an ode to lemon. What most people don’t know is that the best time for lemons is actually winter... not in the throes of summer, sprayed generously over oysters (also better in winter rather than the hotter months).
So, what is it about lemon that makes us sit up and look, feel re-assured with the addition of lemon to our fish, our meat, our salad or our sterilization needs?
Honestly, I don’t know. I just know that when faced with only one ingredient such as a plump piece of Dusky flathead, I know that all i really need in my life is a wedge of fresh lemon.
