Community Liturgy
Student leaders in Year 9 are enthusiastically preparing for next Friday’s Community Mass. All Year 9 students and their families and friends are warmly invited to this Eucharist – as are all members of the College extended community. Eucharist is derived from a Greek word meaning thanksgiving and the end of Semester is a perfect time to come together to give thanks for all the blessings we have received this year.
At this morning’s Community Mass, we celebrated the Feast of St Aloysius (Louis), patron saint of youth. There was a special blessing for members of the Chapel Choir whose youthfulness, musicality and sense of reverence bring joy and prayerfulness to our community liturgies every week. We also acknowledged our team of young altar servers.
When: Fridays in Term Time
Time: 8:00-8:30am
Where: College Chapel
