Fundraising Report

What a fantastic fundraising year.  We have raised over $58 486.

For the first time  we had 2 new events added to our fundraising calendar.

The Color Run was a terrific addition to our regular events and raised over $ 15 200. It created a terrific atmosphere and focus for our welcome picnic and all feedback was positive. For the first time we used an online program called "Raisely" which enabled parents and supporters to donate on line as well as using traditional cash donation methods.

We also has the Mother’s Day Luncheon at the Sandringham Yacht club where the audience was entertained by motivating and inspirational speakers with  a lovely lunch  and a really supportive  atmosphere.  The event raised over $5000.

The Parent Social at the Black Rock Yacht club was a colourful neon themed night with a fantastic party  vibe which raised $12 600.

We had another fabulous concert called Level Up which raised over

$30 000

What the money was spent on? The fundraising money supported the final payment for the stage, the addition of Bike racks, supporting the Maths and Literacy program, the Urban Agriculture garden program and supported a garden worker to come and work with the year 4 students in the garden. We also developed the new flag pole commemorative space and replaced the basketball rings and stands on the asphalt area. The STEM room has also has a new robotic program resourced through the fundraising budget.

Where to from here?

  • Continued support and expansion of the Urban Agriculture Program including a support worker  with the Year 4 and 5 students.
  • STEM support
  • Stage 2 of the upgrade of the bike shed
  • Oval upgrade and the development of inclusive playground areas to support student’s social , emotional and physical development.
