2019 Semester 2 Reports - Important Information
Semester 2 reports will be sent home via email today!
We ask that families who have not updated their email contact recently to please do so on Geddup and at auburn.south.ps@edumail.vic.gov.au as soon as possible.
If for any reason you do not receive your child's report via email on the afternoon of the Friday 13th this means the email may have bounced and to please contact your child's classroom teacher directly on the following Monday.
Student News: Team Aquarator National Digital Tech Champs!
Gabrielle Simcox and Lawson Gallup created an original invention, the Aquarator, a self-contained water aerator and reporting device to help prevent ‘fish kills’. Having won a major bursary in the Victorian Science Talent Search and winning first place in the Victorian Young ICT Explorers competition, they competed last weekend in Sydney at the National Young ICT Explorers competition at the Taronga Institute of Science & Learning. Competing against all of the state finalists at this preeminent national information communication and digital technology competition, they won first place.
Lawson explained, “Although it was the most challenging thing I’ve ever done, I absolutely LOVED IT!!! All of those late nights coding were totally worth it! I can't wait to do it again!” And Gabrielle added, “Even when we thought we couldn’t get it right, and components were melting and going up in smoke, we never gave up. It was really hard, but it was a great project, and the best way to finish up at ASPS!"
Student News: The World's Greatest Shave
Congratulations to the the Koo twins (Matthew, 2E and James, 2A) who participated in the World’s Greatest Shave last Sunday, raising over $2900! Thank you to everyone that supported them. Donations can still be made via the link below.

I am delighted to announce that Michael Wainwright (AKA Mr Michael) has been appointed in a 12 month Acting Assistant Principal role at ASPS! This represents is a significant career achievement for Michael and a recognition of the outstanding work that he does for our school. Congratulations Mr Michael!
